Meet Darcy Stacom

 

Darcy Stacom has marketed and sold more marquis capital markets transactions than any other real estate professional in the United States. Over $150 billion in sales, financings, joint venture, leasehold and development transactions. She tirelessly drives the business practice along with equal dedication to leadership in campaigns for philanthropy, sustainability, diversity, and equity.

Ms. Stacom has founded Stacom CRE, a boutique advisory firm specializing in the Capital Markets of New York City. In her career, Ms. Stacom executed many of the nation’s most impactful real estate transactions, including the single largest residential transaction in history (the $5.4 billion sale of Peter Cooper Stuyvesant Town) and the single largest office transaction in history (the $2.8 billion sale of GM Building).

Ms. Stacom is widely recognized for her industry leadership. A Governor of REBNY, Ms. Stacom is Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee. She also championed women’s careers previously as a Board Member of Nontraditional Employment for Women and as a Board Member for NYU Schack. There she co-founded and co-ran their powerful WIRE Conference, the industry’s most prestigious conference for women in commercial real estate.

Ms. Stacom’s driving desire to contribute to the City extends beyond the world of real estate. She is Co-Chair of the Board of the NYRP, which manages 52 community gardens and more than 80 acres of parkland across all five New York City boroughs. For Phipps Houses, the largest NFP owner of affordable housing in NYC she serves on the Board and Executive Committee.
