A&E Real Estate Acquires Apartment Tower in Manhattan from Equity Residential for $266M

A&E Real Estate, a private multifamily investment and management firm based in New York City, has purchased 140 Riverside Boulevard, a luxury 354-unit apartment tower on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), a multifamily REIT based in Chicago, sold the 28-story community for $266 million. Darcy Stacom and Ryan Silber of CBRE represented Equity Residential in the sale.

CBRE Arranges Sale of 140 Riverside Blvd. for $266 Million

A CBRE team led by Darcy Stacom, chairman of NYC Capital Markets, arranged the $266 million sale of a 354-unit luxury apartment tower at 140 Riverside Boulevard on the Upper West Side to New York-based apartment investor A&E Real Estate on behalf of the seller, Equity Residential.

A&E Real Estate Pays $266M For Manhattan Apartment Tower

A&E Real Estate has purchased a luxury apartment tower in Manhattan from Equity Residential for $266 milion, according to an announcement on Friday from CBRE group, which arranged the sale. The deal is for 140 Riverside Blvd., which is located on the Upper West Side and is three blocks northwest of the 66th Street-Lincoln Center subway station. The 72nd Street station is also nearby to the northeast.
